live webcams of animals from around the world...

explore.org

This has been great for introducing different animals to the class and generating talk... as well as subjects for writing.

things to try with macbook.

The question/inquiry... an iwb program supported by mac that will allow me to open/convert the interwrite files I already have...

Mac version of interwrite does not support windows 9.4 files...starts to load and stalls at 6%.
Next step - is there another mac iwb programme that will open/convert gwb files?

transfer files to activeinspire?

ok...so the mac version of activeinspire does not allow you to import powerpoint files... windows version does. interwrite files have the option to be exported as ppt files but so far I haven't been able to do this with a weeks worth of planning.

I downloaded activeinspire onto both the mac and my windows laptop... imported a ppt into activeinspire flp on my laptop then uploaded it to my google drive...downloaded it from google drive onto mac - it is there - no sound or animations like the original ppt though.

I was able to export an interwrite file as an iwb rather than a gwb... and upload to google drive then download on mac... still unable to open in interwrite though :(
